Somehow I have read these out of
order but must say I have loved all the HIS books I have read so far. The
suspense in this story is to die for, I was kept on the edge of my seat
holding my breath just waiting. For me this was a page turner I just had to
know what happen next. The author gives some very hot scenes that will have
the reader adjusting their collar a little. Everything you could want you
will find here the suspense, romance, drama, crime, action, adventure and
thrills. The scenes just explode off the pages right in your mind. I had no
trouble picturing them as they unfolded.
I really liked how the plot was laid out with Megan’s brother coming up missing, and she is out for blood doing her own investing. When AJ comes along things really get heated leaving Megan finding a little trouble with all the tricky situations she finds herself in. I have to give it to her she has set her goal, and she isn’t backing down. What I liked about her was she is feisty, her strength and courage, making a stand and not giving up no matter what. AJ's past puts them danger, but they both have secrets which doesn’t help matters. He is driven, strong, caring and very protective. His mission is to protect her at all cost. Being undercover as a bad boy he is exciting but really just is more the lovable man who we all would die for. I enjoyed the twists and turns along with some surprises. It was a book I had trouble putting down, I kept thinking just one more page and before you knew it I was done. I loved the characters and all they went through, the author really pulled me in from the first page until the end. |
