Dial V for Vampire: A Kudzu Korners Novel
by Isabella Norse
When you pick up a book by a new author you have never read before you
really do not know what to expect. When this new release or other book she has
written have few reviews you are kind of left in the dark to her style of
writing and just what others think of it. For me this sounded interesting, when
I signed up to review it I really was in the dark. The book cover is cute but
still not giving a lot away I started the story with an open mind. With that
open mind I started to read from the first page the author has you with your
heart in your throat as Maggie finds herself in a chase that could be life or
death. At the same time you find yourself chuckling at Maggie who is a
delightful colorful character that loves bring color into the life of those
around her. The chase is on as something or someone is nipping at her heels
just as she is about to get into the light where she can see two men just
inside the window of a business something grabs at her what started as a semi
good day just became life or death.
Maggie is a delightful character that pulls you in with her fun
personality. She isn’t a yes person she tells it like it is and let the chips
fall where they may. She has issues with
romance that have been in place when her parents showed her love is not every
lasting. Love what is it? I can tell you one thing it isn’t real or lasting.
Why put time into something that won’t be there tomorrow she said. She has to
do a little rethinking when Noah steps into the picture. Just what is he
anyway? He is full of mystery, something is different about him she just can’t
put her finger on it. Does he look different what the heck is going on?
Noah has his own issues losing his wife really tore him apart. He is
lost and alone working nonstop to keep the world safe for his kind. When Maggie
falls into his life he doesn’t know what to think she is a little out there. So
much energy, so much color, she brings life to his world as she takes off
running with no stopping her. It doesn’t take long for her to take his world
and tear it apart. Noah has secrets and
wonders how she will take it when she finds out just what he and his kind are.
Maggie has a blog where she writes about the zombie that lives with
her. This blog has been fun for her with
thousands reading and loving it. Not all are pleased zombies are dangerous and
need to be killed which puts her at the top of the most wanted person list to
the werewolves who spend their time defending the world against those nasty
characters. What a mess we get in when
we let our mind go wild creating a fun new world which just may not be a new
world. Maggie is about to get the biggest shock of her life as she goes on the
run trying to say one step of the things that is trying to killer her. Could
this just be a misunderstanding and if so can it be fixed before she ends up
dead?
I was totally thrilled with this author she brings fun, excitement to
the read as she gives you a wonderful romance that is touching with two people
who have lost at love in one form or the other. Not only will Maggie and Noah
have to rethink their life but her best friend will as well as things get
complicated Maggie has to step back take a look at her life and just what her
friend brings to it. I adored the humor,
the sass and Noah’s family that I would so love to be a part of. It was a delight to watch these two grow as
people and watch more bloom between them. The supporting characters add so much as they
add excitement and many laughs. I did not find much filler at all each word or
sentences have a place and a meaning. For a new author this one was a delight
to find. I really enjoyed it from start to finish as two different world come
together to twist their way into my heart. It was well written with wonderful characters
and a delightful plot that will keep you invest from the first page to the
last. I am so looking forward to reading more from this author.

Summary
Maggie Robinson is a full-time server, part-time blogger, and 24/7
skeptic. Her love life? Non-existent. Why bother? Her parents' divorce is proof
that "happily ever after" is a fairy tale. To make matters worse, she
has no idea that her tongue-in-cheek blog, Life with Zombie, has placed her at
the top of the werewolves' Most Wanted List. Noah Townsend is a vampire with a
broken heart. It has been two years since his wife's death, and he is still
recovering. Instead of dealing with his grief, he has thrown himself into his
duties as the head of a security firm that specializes in protecting paranormal
beings and hiding their existence from humans. Worlds collide when Noah saves
Maggie from a werewolf attack. Can Maggie overcome her skepticism, and Noah his
grief, in time to realize that they were made for each other? Or will the
ripples started by Maggie's blog grow into a tsunami that will tear them-and
Kudzu Korners-apart?
