What a delightful find all 3 of this series in a bundle at a
great price and it looks like the next 6 books have a bundle as well. This
box-set has been a delight from the first book to the last. I would have to say
book 3 is my favorite at this time. Each book are standalones but to get the
full impact you may want to read/listen to them in order. Each book have their own issues with pain,
sorrow, hurt, learning, getting over, starting over, drugs, abuse, starting
over, standing on your own two feet, and a few ladies of the night. For me so
far each book is better than the last.
This narrator is one very talented person giving a
compelling listen with such passion you can feel through her voice. She really
brings these audio to life giving you a highly entertaining read. She puts such
emotion into the audio you can feel the pain, sorrow, sadness, joy, happiness
through her tones. Her performance is outstanding as she pulls you in taking
you way through the excitement and danger that comes. I love her many different
voices from her sexy strong males to her sassy strong women. She pulls deep
inside herself giving you a compelling listen that will leave you chuckling and
at times laughing. She knows how to hit the correct tones really keeping the
listener invested as they wait for the next shoe to drop. There are not any
background noises and no breaks were taken that I could tell. You can picture
the story unfold through her voice and her tones. You have no trouble knowing
who is talking or what they are feeling. What this narrator brings to the table
is a very clean, crisp, clear audio you get lost in. I just love to be taken
away by this very talented narrator. I can hardly wait for the next listen.
Book 1 - Learning To Love
Miranda thought she had been getting to know her groom to be
but finds out it was his father. The son isn’t too happy about all that has
been done behind his back. Having listened to book 3 first and getting to know
Mr. Carson I can easily picture him doing what he did. My heart really went out
to Miranda and all she has gone through. The author touches on this but doesn’t
go into a lot of detail just enough to give you the true meaning of it. Her
little sister plays a big role in her taking the steps she needs to walk away
from the bad relationship. On meeting Casey doesn’t show his best side he
thinks if he is mean maybe she will leave. His father isn’t willing to give up
that easy and makes her a deal that will insure she stays at least for a little
while. Slowly the story builds up it is a case of I don’t want her but I don’t
want anyone else to have her. This makes for some very interesting read.
I thought this was a very cute read not one of the best of this author but very good. I think I enjoyed the audio more than reading it but still both are fun reads. I loved the baiting between the brothers and the slow build up of the relationship between these two. Once it took off there was not stopping them it moved pretty fast. The author gives you a great build up for the books to follow with some wonderful characters I can’t wait to get to know better. This was a very enjoyable list. I can’t wait to start the next one.

Book 2 - Searching For Love
What you will find in this story is not everything is as it
seems nor the people. There are a lot of twists and turns that you won’t see
coming. A few might even shock you. As I get more into this series I just love
the characters from their humor to their troubles the plot really pulls you in
giving you a wonderful outstanding listen you can get lost in.
At first you do not know what to think of Amy and a few of
the other characters. Amy is having a hard time not only with the vacation that
seems more like work but slowly she is building her confidence back so she can
get back to the job she loves. Out of all the characters in this book she
surprised me the most. I sure didn’t see that coming. Watching her grow, get
strong and pull herself together was just delightful. There are a lot of times
I had to laugh out loud at her and her horse.
Carey is so unsure of his self not knowing that deep inside him is a place that is very strong. When the chips are down and he is needed he does his best to pull the whole ranch together to overcome the danger he finds his self in. I loved watching him grow and letting his light shine his is a very intelligent that just needs a chance to prove his self. Wait until you see his truck man would I love to have a ride in it.

Book 3 - Counting On Love
Emma has been down the road that Joseph is going on she was
hooked on drugs along with doing things she really didn’t want to when she was
in need of a fix. She has finally gotten out of the life and is living a clean
clear life. People from her old life isn’t willing to let her go so easy, then
things get out of hand where she works she decides it is time to move on. There
is a lot going on in this part of the story that really has the reader hooked
to know the outcome. This is where things get really interesting when she goes
to help Joseph get through his ordeal with some powerful emotions. Emma is such
a sweet soul, she is kind and caring someone you would be proud to call a
friend. You can see the ordeal she has went through to get clean and stay that
way. This is one lady that deserves her HEA she went through enough it is time
to see her smile, laugh and in love.

Each of these are outstanding stories with their characters
having their own real issues you can relate to. I love their plots, the humor,
the emotion that is given by the author and narrator. It is very easy to be
taken away pulled in giving you a page turner you can’t put down. I really
enjoyed reading them but the audio does add a lot giving them real emotion you
can feel. I enjoyed watching each character
grow as their love bloomed giving them the strength to really be who they were
meant to be. The humor is outstanding at
times you find you are laughing out loud. There is heart break where you really
feel their pain. You will find yourself cheering for each and wanting to push
or hold them back as danger gets near. There will be life or death times where
you will hold your breath praying they make it out alive. I just love this
author writing style she knows how to pull her readers in. I can hardly wait to
start the next book in this series. Alone they are great read but together as
you get to know the characters they are OUTSTANDING stories.
