Another win win story from Ms. Woolf this one really gets to the heart with trust issues, finding love, starting over and letting go of the past. There is nothing worse than losing trust in someone so bad that it makes you not trust anyone as Tom has but he just doesn’t put his trust in women. The women that said I do to left him to raise their two children. He now needs a woman to help him raise them. When he sends off for a mail order bride one women reaches out to him he can’t get her out of his mind. On meeting her he runs her to the preacher to say I do. As they head home she finds out a few things he didn’t tell her. She has made her bed and will lie in it. How bad can it be? She is about to find out as she learns ranch life and all the work she has to do.

Lia Frederick is a wonderful narrator she puts so much feeling and emotion into the listen. Her many different character voices are wonderful she never leaves you guessing as to who is talking or how they feel. Her tones are even with no high or low parts. There are no backgrounds noises just a smooth even listen. Her male voices are just as good as her female ones. She puts passion into the listen that makes you feel each emotion the character is feeling. I feel like I got to know the characters better and I was more invested than if I had read it. She has so far done all the audios I have listened by this author. Each one is just as good if not better than the last. She has really brought this series to life for me. She has a smooth voice you can listen to with an easy way that sucks you into the read. I can’t wait to listen to more from her.

Tom is really a wonderful man but ones bitten twice shy as the saying goes. He know Rosie won’t stay around so why get attached. The attraction is strong and he has a hard time keeping his hands to his self but he knows he can do this. Oh he will bed her but it will be on his terms not hers. Life doesn’t always goes as planned when he sees how caring and giving Rosie is not only to his children but to him as well he finds it is getting hard not to lose his heart to this wonderful women. He can’t fall for her he knows soon she will leave.

Rosie doesn’t get along very well with her sister in law. She doesn’t like the men around where she lives and decided the best thing is to start over new. When she agrees to marry Tom she has such high hopes in loving his children, loving her husband and having a few kids of her own. She can’t wait to start and bring much needed love to this family. When she gets there all is not as she thought it would be. Tom wasn’t fully truthful with her and breaks her heart in a few minutes. She won’t give up she is here to stay and stay she will.

When their love, life and soul is tested it is anyone’s guess how this will turn out as the author throws a major twits in that you won’t see coming and leaves you with your mouth open. There will be times you say how a women can do this or why did she. The children are a delight and so cute they will make you smile and keep you laughing. Rosie falls helplessly in love with this family working hard to give them a home and the love they need. I found this to be a believable story in that time frame. The author brings such sorrow to a family that is taking a chance as she brings them such happiness. I truly love Ms. Woolf’s writing style she has a way of pulling her readers in with an entertaining read. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
