Valentine Bride: (A Sweet Romance Novella) (Holiday Brides Book 1)
by Shanna Hatfield

 My Review
If you are looking for a wonderful romance that makes you laugh, which will bring tears to your eyes as you turn around and do it all over again this is the book for you. Ms. Hatfield brings you an outstanding read with wonderful characters who will keep you laughing. Just wait until you meet Fynlee grandmother and her wonderful side kick that keeps a home spinning on its top. You will never believe until you read the schemes these two old women have in store for their niece and nephew. You will start laughing almost from the first page and not stop until the end. Wait until you meet Carson girlfriend and what these two old ladies do to her. This is one book that will keep you entertained throughout as Ms. Hatfield woves the story around a funny, sweet romance with colorful characters that are not letting any grass grow under their feet. There is no way you can read this without seeing the pictures of these characters and all they pull to help the people they love fall in love.  Once you pick this up you will find why I pick this as my favorite Valentine read this year.

Nothing is more important to Fynlee than her grandmother who raised her. She will give up anything and everything to make sure her last days are the best they can be. Her granny does driver her crazy with all the stuns she pulls but you got to love a women who always puts her granddaughters first. Fynlee isn’t looking for love she gave up that idea when she came home. No one is more surprised when she meets Carson. The attraction is on both sides from the start but Carson has a girlfriend who his aunt doesn’t like. It looks like it will have to be friends but granny and the aunt have other plans.

Carson as always wanted the home place where he went on vacation. When his aunt decided to sale he grabs it with both hands.  When he meets Fynlee he is taken back and feels the pull as she weaves herself into his heart but he has a girlfriend. Things are not the best with her since she wants him to forget about the ranch and come home. If his aunt has anything to do with it there will be wedding bells but it won’t be Carson girlfriend saying I do. His aunt is full of all kinds of ideas on how to match these two you will laugh as you watch them take the bull by the horn as they push, pull and twist to have their way.

This is one author who knows how to bring you a touching read that will make you laugh and want to cry at the heart break. She pulls on your heartstrings with a read you won’t be able to put down. She gives you wonderful characters that you will ask what in the world will these two get into next. She wraps a wonderful romance around a very believable story. There are times you will cheer and other times when you might say a few nasty words but before long you are sure to be laughing. I know when I see this authors name it is going to be one heck of a ride and I will fall in love all over with her story. I highly recommend you give this Valentine story a read you won’t be disappointed.
