My Review          

This is the second book in this series it is even sweeter, funnier, passionate, exciting, thrilling than the first book was. There was a time or two I was taking a drink and just about spit it all over my kindle after that I didn’t pick up my drink again. This is a story of if you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you are with. This is a powerful touching read I couldn’t put down as the author pulled me in with the thrills of the chase, the passion, the excitement and drama of two people wanting each other but neither can see it, they are torn with their feelings but neither will do anything about it for many reasons. This is a story you don’t want to miss. It is a standalone but you really should read the first one to get the full impact of the characters.

Quinn has had a crush on Simon since they met years ago, her dream is to marry him but he doesn’t even notice her. As years moved on she moves on starts dating a man of the life style she was raised in more suitable to her mother’s ways and the snotty up turned nose people that her mother always hangs with. You know the kind that does not dirty their hands they have someone to take care of all the dirty jobs. Only Quinn isn’t this way and she isn’t happy with her wedding only weeks away and her mother controlling everything she just wants to walk away. She knows Eric is the perfect man he truly loves her, he has money, he is caring and she should be the happiest women in the world. She truly is until one night the passion for another got out of hand now her life is spinning out of control just as much as the storms they chase.

 Simon has had a crush on Quinn from day one, she is his sister’s best friend, and they work together. He isn’t into long term just the here and now. Knowing he can’t be or give her what she needs he keeps his feeling to his self. One can always dream that is until the night she drinking and tells him what is on her bucket list which leaves his world spinning out of control.

I really like all of these characters even Eric I felt sorry for. Many not as much as I should have with his controlling ways. Quinn is just a normal lady who doesn’t let money get in her way. She just wants a normal life with a normal man with some excitement of chasing the storms. I can’t blame her from being pulled to the man who she is sure of and not the man that makes her heart beat faster. Simon doesn’t want to settle down, he is hot and loves women. I really liked him from the first book and grow to love him in this one. He knows what he wants she just belongs to another and he doesn’t have the heart to see if things can be more knowing he is not into the long haul.  Quinn’s mother is something else but she does become human after a time. I love all of the Chase family what is there not to love. 

The author gives you a very highly entertaining read that will stay with you long after you put the book down. You will not forget the Chase family easy or the ones they love. I doubt there is really one of us who would not love to see a tornado maybe not as up close and personal as the characters do. The author really pulls you in with the excitement of the chase and the danger of hanging on just to see if you will leave to see another day. It is the thrill of the chase the excitement of getting close and still being alive. The author spins the story in a way that will keep your heart pumping as she brings you the thrills, excitement and passion of chasing storms along with the a passion of two people who thinks they have fooled everyone. There will be times your heart will break for these people, other time when your heart will just about beat out of your chest and a few times you would like to bang a few heads. The author gives you a wonderful powerful plot with wonderful characters that you will fall in love with. After reading this you will know why Ms. Lovelace is a bestselling author. I am sure you will be just like me and can’t wait to read the next in the series. This was truly a wonderful, exciting read. I made this one of my favorite reads of 2016. I highly recommend you pick this up give it a read but hang on to your heart and your seat you are in for one heck of a ride.
