Season of Love (Cutter's Creek #11)
by Vivi Holt
What a heartwarming clean read that will bring you inspiration
giving you back the true meaning of family, love, Christmas as well as
mankind. Meg knows how it feels to lose
her family and be all alone but for her it was just her. She is all grown up and
she moves to Cutter Creek to become the school teacher just about gave up on
finding a husband. She longs for a family but doesn’t see a man in site that
will make her his. Things take place in town that draws on her heartstrings
making her make decisions that will make it hard for any man to make her his
bride.
Meg is just so good hearted, caring and loving. All of her
students just love her. Now she finds she must reach the trust of one group of
children hoping to get through to them and make their life better. I really
liked her and was cheering for her in more ways than one as she tries to take
the world on one child at a time.
Heath has his heart broken in the worse way and isn’t in
much of a hurry to go down that road again that is until he meets Meg which
makes him start thinking about marriage and family again. He gets his self all
work up to start courting her and she makes a move that blows his mind. He sure
isn’t ready for that kind of move but he still finds his self drawn to her. Now he must weigh the odds and decide if his
heart is big enough to admit he loves her and help her take on the world one
child at a time.
This was a very touching read that pulls you in. I just
adored the plot it reaches your heart in so many ways. This was really very
well written with characters that will pull on your heart. You are so going to
love the children in this small town as they break your heart from all they
have gone through. I found this to be a
book I could not put down I was so cheering, pushing and hoping for so many
people in this story. If you are looking for a very touching story that will
put you in the Christmas mood this would be the one you would want to read.
