Steal Me, Cowboy (Carver Ranch Series Book 4)
by Lacey Wolfe
My Review
I really enjoyed this story it gave me a few smiles as they
worked out their feelings and misunderstandings. You have two people who are just looking for
a hook up nothing serious. Isn’t it funny how that doesn’t always work that way?
Melissa and Troy are not ready to commit to a relationship both are scared for
different reason and there is the age different. After not seeing each other
for many years it seems Melissa is all grow up oh my has she now. Neither of
these two can keep their eyes off the other and are having a hard time keep
their hands to their selves. Not to
mention how her brothers would feel about them being together now that is just
gross lol.
I loved the humor how the whole family laughs together and
get on each other nerves but stick together. I love the family values their
parents have and how each of them have a part of that in them. This was a very
believable story with some ups and downs giving the read a very hot passionate
read. Melissa and Troy have to work out what they want their not really sure
what that is but they worked on it until they do. Of course the green eyed monster raises its
head which bring even more misunderstandings. It’s funny how each see things differently but
when looking at how they would feel if the same thing happens it is a different
story. This is a great family story of people who give wonderful advice but
still let you deal with your issues without getting in the middle.
It is well written with wonderful characters you will cheer
on. At times you would like to shake them but they seem to work it out. I enjoyed how the romance builds up and how
they don’t just jump in bed even with the strong pull they keep their heads
well they almost do. I haven’t read the rest of this series but you do get to
see where the past characters are and how their lives are. It did make me want
to go back and read the ones I have missed.
If you are looking for a well written HOT romance with steam coming off
it this is the one for you.

The moment Melissa lays eyes on Troy she's a goner. But that doesn't mean she's going to just give into love. Especially with a man who isn't at all her type.
Retired bull rider Troy Swanson isn't interested in a relationship. He's just moved back to town, taking a job at Carver Ranch so he can pay the bills while he studies to become a veterinarian. He's got things all planned out until Melissa walks into the barn. He's smitten with her right away, but even if he wanted to pursue her, as his friend's little sister—all grown up little sister—she's off limits.
