WOW it gets you right in the gut and makes you want to grab you children hug them tight and keep them close to you. No one trust the other, there seem to be a link no one knows where, could it be in their department. So many secrets, so many lies which will lead to many broken hearts. The book starts out with a knock at the door, a secret password and then all hell breaks loose leaving people dead and some wounded. This is just the beginning to a fast pace action adventure as the hunt is on to find the traffickers it goes from the hunted to being the hunter and back again leaving so many unanswered questions as the bad guys seem to be one step ahead of FBI.

I just love Mr. Dove’s narration he pulls you in with a very strong and powerful voice. There are no background noises or repeating of words just a wonderful delightful listen. If any breaks were taken I could not tell he just delivers a very clean, clear and power audio. His tones are outstanding you can feel the passion, excitement coming right out of your speakers. His male voices are a wonderful as his female. You always know who is talking and what they are feeling. His normal voice is just a delight to listen to as he gives you the facts pulling you in to a world that has gone crazy. You can tell he has put a lot of thought into each character the voices fit them so well. He gives just enough pause, to let what he just read sink in giving it a powerful impact on the listener. Mr. Dove knows how to pull you in taking your on a ride that will leave you holding your breath wanting to pull the characters out of the story to keep them safe. His Performance is one of the best narrators I have listened to. I know when I see his name it is going to be a wild exciting ride.

This leads off with mystery, suspense and action with wonderful characters that keeps you entertained with a page turner you can’t put down.  When it comes to children there is nothing more dearly to your heart than a child that has been kidnapped and put in a sex ring. The clock is ticking as Lucas is on a race with the clock to find the little girl who has been taken before harm can be done to her. Just when we think it is all going to work out all hell breaks loose with bodies flying and buildings falling. This is a very emotional touching read from the characters to the issues. It is a race to bring the traffickers in and keeping the child alive to be able to get her alive until she can get to the court to put them away.

I really liked the chemistry between Lucas and Ashley the bickering just add to the romance and story.  The twists and turns are exciting along with the suspense and action. It seems everyone is hiding something from the ones on the right side of the laws to the ones that are on the other side. Ashley seemed so open and up front until she starts acting weird than you know it must be something big. When you find the answer your heart just breaks for her. I really liked the characters and loved the plot it kept me guessing, hanging on the edge, a few heart stopping moments with lots of excitement and suspense. The ending is wonderful. Ms. Anderson is one of my favorite authors from the first book I picked up that scared the crap right out of me. She has had me in the palm of her hands every since.
