My Review
At first I didn't care too much for this story most likely due to the uptown girl image which the narrator had down to a T. A snotty rich girl that at first sight was over the top. I was very, very wrong Bellamy at first comes across this way the narrator does a wonderful job of making her seem like this. However once the book takes off you find she isn't anything but a wonderful girl who is really unhappy in her job. She might come across as looking down at you but she really isn't. She is a down to earth lady who is just finding her way as she gets over a bad break up. If you love small town romances as I do you will love this.

Casey Holloway narration wasn't bad she does a great job giving you the rich girl tones and the lowly boy who is poor. I didn't hear any breaks it was a pretty even read. There is not any background noise. Her character voices are pretty good and I thought she did a great job. I really didn't care for the snotty girl but they grow on you. They seemed younger than what I think the author wanted them to be. All in all I thought she did a good job and would listen to more audios by this narrator.

Bellamy might have left town to get away for a week of peace but what she does is reflect on her life, her ex and her job. She will make life changing choices before the week is through. All with getting to know one bullhead man who gets her motor started. I thought she was a good character who grows on you. At first she is a turn off and it is most likely due to the narrator. She really is a sweet down to earth lady that came from money and only wants to make her family happy. She has wonderful friends who stands by her and will move heaven and earth to help her through hard times. I think most of us would love to have friends like this.

Shane is just a dream man who has all the right moves. He is hiding a few things and needs to work out some issues but with the right women he just might find out life isn't as bad as he thinks. He doesn't care for rich snotty women and pushes Bellamy away even though she turns him on he just can't see anything happening. Once things take off with Bellamy he really needs to come clean. Like most men they never do what they should which usually gets them in major trouble. It was interesting to watch this play out.

The author gives you a wonderful story of what you see isn't what you get. She adds humor to keep you smiling as she entertains you with some major twists. From the first page you will smile and keep smiling throughout the read. This was a fun loving read that does have some major heartache. Both will have to learn to trust and give back as well as get over the past and move on. The author gives you some very passionate scenes which are very heated.  I do have to admit I was hooked and had a hard time putting it away. I had to know the ending so I found things to do around the house so I could finish this tonight. You will be surprised how things play out and you won't even see it coming. The supporting characters are outstanding. I found this to be a believable read with believable characters. I can't wait to listen to a few others I have by this author.

Book Description
 "It's not you."

There are only so many times a girl can hear those words before she believes that it is, in fact, very much her. Unexpectedly jilted by her locally famous boyfriend and haunted by a boss who makes Attila the Hun look like a lap dog, Bellamy Blake does what any self-respecting girl in her shoes would do. She rounds up her two best girlfriends and makes plans to get the hell out of Dodge....

But Bellamy's escape plan takes a nose dive on the side of rural route 164 when her transmission self-destructs, leaving her in the middle of a cell phone dead zone with nothing but her wits. Oh, and Shane Griffin, the hottest mechanic who's ever checked under her hood.

Yet this small-town man isn't all he seems. Can Shane and Bellamy prove that sometimes the most unlikely ingredients make the most deliciously sexy mix?

About the author
Kimberly Kincaid writes contemporary romance that splits the difference between sexy and sweet. When she's not sitting cross-legged in an ancient desk chair known as "The Pleather Bomber", she can be found practicing obscene amounts of yoga, whipping up anything from enchiladas to éclairs in her kitchen, or curled up with her nose in a book. Kimberly is a 2015 RWA RITA© finalist who lives (and writes!) by the mantra that food is love. Her digital Line series is all about the hot cops and sexy chefs of Brentsville, New York. She is also the author of the Pine Mountain series, which follows small town singles as they find big-time love. Kimberly resides in Virginia with her wildly patient husband and their three daughters.
