At first Carissa comes off as a very loose woman wanting nothing but the pleasure she can get from a man through the art of (let’s call it) love making. You get one shot and one shot only so do not disappoint the lady. For most of us ladies once twice a week would be enough but for Carissa once to twice a day is never enough. She will go from one man to the next not counting the hours between nor the men she uses to get the pleasure she craves. Then you learn her background and still think this should not have made you the way you are. As you go along through the book you come to understand her more. Even though I don’t agree with her in many areas I was able to come to understand her and her ways. It is all about control, being notice and getting attention as so many young teens do today. When I came to understand this I was able to relate to her very well.

Ms. Langola does a wonderful job of narration given a powerful emotional listen giving the whole audio a realistic feel. If I didn’t know better I would have thought she really was in the act of making love. Her performance was very emotional at times. Through her voice you can feel each pain, tear, confusion, joy, sorrow and so much more. This story needs a powerful narrator and Ms. Langola has no trouble delivering, her performance is outstanding making the listener see and feel each emotion. Her female voices were just as great as her male, you always know who is talking and what each are feeling. She really bring this audio alive leaving your imagination running wild as it takes over playing out each scene. There are no background noises, no volume change or any repeat of words. The audio is clear, clean and crisp giving you the feelings of true pleasure Carissa feel at every touch and the pain from her past. This is by far the best deliverance Ms. Langola has done so far. She delivers a very powerful audio that I truly got lost in. There are scenes here that will just about bring you to tears with this narrator she really pulls on your emotional strings.

The author gives you a wonderful plot, at first I didn’t care to much for it but as she lays it out you are pulled in with mixed emotions and then with powerful ones. There are many surprises some good, some not so good. One thing for sure your heart will break as the chips fall and come back to life as they are put back together again. Not much can be said or it will take away from the plot but you are in for some major tail spins to heart break, confusion and last of all a love that will last. The plot is based on the wild world of sexual pleasure and what you can get out of it without giving of yourself. It has a few twists and turns but ends on learning to love yourself and finding the one someone who will be your world. There are some very touching scenes as she relives her past and comes to face it so she can have a future but will it be to late when he takes off to go back home? So many things can happen you won’t believe how this plays out. I was almost in tears when the chips fall. Oh the heartbreak Carissa felt, I have to say I was right there beside her wanting to grab her and hold her tight. What it all comes down to is a slow start that start off like most of your erotic stories but takes a twist that will hold you spellbound.

This was a cute little read with a few surprises for Roxane which will leave her speechless and on the run. She isn’t your normal type of women being the President of her father and grandfathers company she has a lot to live up to. This doesn’t leave her much time for romance which she really isn’t interested in. What she is interested in is what happens between the sheets. After her last romance that ended bad with him complaining over how much time she spent on your job she decided to have a few one nightstands. Her friend talked her into going to a special club where no one knows who you are. She meets a man there who intrigues her but won’t give in to her wants. She puts the dream man behind her putting herself into her work. The next man she meet is the lawyer her father hirers that gets under her skin. She can’t stand him, he is everything she dislikes in a man.  Parker has other ideas and is driving her crazy in so many ways. That is all I am going to tell you, it is easy for the reader to work out the ins and outs but not for Roxane who is left in a tail spin.

Ms. Langola narration is wonderful she has a powerful voice that is very pleasant to listen to. Her character voices are great it is easy to know who is talking and just what they are feeling. Her tones are right on the money giving a compelling listen that pulls the reader in. There are no background noise, no volume changes, if any breaks were taken I could not tell. You can feel the emotions in her voice from anger to chuckling this is a wonderful narration. Her character voice and her normal voice are very pleasant to the listener’s ears giving you a story that you won’t want to put down. It is a very clean and clear audio. The plot flows easy and without interruption as the narrator puts the correct voice to the correct character which gave life to this listen. This is the first time I have listen to this narrator and really like how she performs. I am looking forward to listening to more of her work.

At first I didn’t care too much for this story line but as the author leads you into the plot I found I totally enjoyed it. The only issue I have is that this is a cliffhanger and book two has not been narrated at this time. I do not care very much for cliffhanger and most likely will forget to buy this when book 2 does come out. I enjoyed the mystery and how the plot plays out. It will be interesting to see just how and if Parker can win this lady over. I have a few chuckles and there was a few OH MY’S as well as a couple OH NO’s. It was a good plot that does hold the reader’s attention. The listener can feel the chemistry between these two as well as the shock, anger, disappointment and excitement. The characters keep you entertained as they dance around each other. For the most part they are likable and at times very funny.

If you enjoyed Burning Ember you will definitely want to read this. It was great to see these two characters again getting an update on how they are and what is new in their life.

Honey Scarlett, Leeroy Will narration was out of this world each hitting tones right on the money. You know just who is talking and what they are feeling. For me they made this audio what it is any other narrators would just not do it justice. Honey takes on the life of all the female roles with Lerroy taking on the male. Their many different voices were outstanding never leaving you guessing who was talking and just how they felt. There are no background noises or any places where the volume are higher or lower or tones off.  There was one place where Lerroy repeated his self but no way does it take away from this outstanding narrator. They give you a listen you won’t be able to put down. If they took a break you cannot tell it is just one smooth listen that hooks you from start to finish. They made you feel the emotions at times you even wanted to cry and lord did they make you laugh. There performance was just outstanding giving the listener everything they want as the characters take on a life of their own. Just outstanding narration at its finest. I can’t wait to listen to more from this duo.

 It is very short so there isn’t a lot one can say beside I love this author and her writing style. She really pulls you in giving you a very entertaining read that hooks you from the start.

My Review

This is not my normal read I really do not care for this genre with that said I have to say this is really a very talented author who really pulls you in. The sex scenes were very hot (and very painful) told in a way that had you on the edge waiting to see who would win and claim the prize.  Sara needs more when it comes to the bedroom. She wants some wild nights with a very controlling man who will let her push but not get away with it. She needs to be controlled only in the bedroom when out she wants a partner that knows just what he has in being her man. There is one man that holds her attention and is everything she wants in a man that is all but in the bedroom. He is nice and sweet a man of your dreams, he just isn’t what she is looking for he isn’t a man that takes what he wants feeling her needs.  The sex is good just not good enough….

Kasim is floored when Sarah walks out on her with a nice to know, it’s been fun now I have to run. He has done everything his mother taught him, treating a women like a women being gentle and calm even when he wanted to let loose and control with wild night that would curl your toes.  What did he do wrong why doesn’t this women want him? He must have her, she won’t get away he is hot on her tail with one hand on the whip and another on her cute bottom he will make her his no questions asked.

The characters are very likable they are strong and needing more. I still shake my head every time I read a book like this wondering how this can be pleasurable lol. If you are looking for a wild time with a controlling man this book is for you. I think even those like me who do not enjoy this kind of read will enjoy this. It is so much more than about control it is about finding a way to work out issues and give the other what they need. It is about being a couple, partners and finding that one special someone who lights up your would. It is short and to the point but very moving. I really enjoyed this.

My Review

Elizabeth is the good girl and has been all her life when she meets the bad boy of a strip clue who knows she can be more if she just lets herself go. When good meets bad things gets very interesting as the good girl turns bad not everyone will be happy. The author gives you a great plot the underline is just being yourself not what others want you to be. That it is ok to be you and still be a wonderful person, daughter etc. The book starts off hot and ends hot with lots of sex scenes that will burn up your pages.

Elisabeth learns that you do not always have to be good that it is okay to let her hair down. Matt learns you can still be a wonderful person no matter your background. Sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too.

The author gives you wonderful characters you can relate to as well as supporting characters. I can’t say Elisabeth’s parents were my favorite people. I would have liked to have seen how they handled her being in a relationship with Matt. I would call this more of an Erotic Romance than a Contemporary Romance.

I thought this was a good read just nothing that reaches out and grabs me to make it stand out from all the rest like it. I just do not see a snobby women giving in that easy. She is from money but it doesn’t seem to be her world even though she has nice things she doesn’t rub it in your face. I really liked her character but thought she came on way to strong in the beginning about it not being her scene. I agree with her I do not care too much for places like this. I just think that was an over kill. Matt was a wonderful character who most women would adore. There wasn’t anything about him I didn’t like. I do not understand why so much time was given to his mother when you do not even know if she went straight or not. I think that could have been touched on but most of it left out.

All in all I thought this was an okay read with a wonderful plot. The chemistry between the main characters was powerful you can feel it from the start. This worked well with me. I liked Matt’s history of the strip club. The author gave a wonderful story of his background and how he became the owner. What really worked for me was how Matt showed Elisabeth how easy it is to loosen up and be her self. There will be readers who are going to love this read and won’t be able to put it down. I hope you will give this story a try as I am sure many will adore it.
