This is a new author to me having said that I have to say for the most part she held me spellbound with suspense, mystery and romance. There are some very touching, very in-depth, heart in your throat, yelling at the characters, and some very heart broken scenes. This is one author that really knows how to hold your attention giving you a compelling read that hooks you from the first page. There are so many different things you won’t see coming, a few shockers along the way. Very little filler used in this hang on to the edge of the seat read. At times I did have a hard time putting it down, I had to know what happen next. I had a hard time not going to the end to find out who the killer was.

The only issues I had was when Sam bought her house she went to her grandmother to get some of the few things she had in the basement. I was unsure why she didn’t go to her parent’s house to get some of the things there. It was like her parents died which really hurt her a lot but that was about it. What happen to their things?

I doubt you can read this and not have your heart go out to Sam from the first page she pulls you in when she goes to report on an accident and has her whole world turned upside down.  From there is seems she cannot get a break just one things after another. The plot is well thought out leaving the read guessing and wondering what in the world could happen next. I thought for the most part it was beautiful written, so much so I picked up the other books the author has out. She does have a free one and the others are only 99 cents at the time of this post.

The romance part is done nicely not overpowering and not a lot of detail from their most private moments. Her roommate is a delight and really holds your attention with her budding romance. It seems there are a lot of characters that are full of surprises and secrets, just when you think you have a handle the author throws you a spin. There are a lot of twists and turns that keep you on the edge. The characters find away to your heart in a short time, they become family and you become very invested in their lives and the outcome of the plot. I love the paranormal in it, the author writes it in a way that it is very believable. It’s like a guiding hand but doesn’t give it all away.  If you like mystery, romance, and suspense in your stories you are so going to love this. But hang on to your hats you are in for one heck of a ride.

My Review
This starts out with a bang and ended with one that is full of excitement, it is a pretty fast pace suspenseful listen leaving you guessing at the victim and who the killer is. There were times I held my breath thinking just maybe it would work out. Who the killer was did cross my mind once but I thought no that can’t be him. There were times I thought how dumb can a victim be only to find out at times they aren’t too smart but you are let wondering if it was you would you have done the same things at times like this no one things to clear. There were times the killer made me chuckle I know that isn’t how it is suppose to me but I found his action at times a little on the humor side. There were also times when I felt so low and bad for the victim I just wanted to jump into the book and get them out. The cover of this book fits it so well you can see the face of the victim in the knife you find as you listen you are picturing the same thing. You will find thrills, chills, horror, suspense.fear and pain here as a mad man teases the cops leaving them at a lost on how to stop him and one woman who tries to outwit him at every turn that is until he has her in his sites.

I totally LOVED Ms. Lin as the narrator she really brought this story to life for me pulling me in leaving me hanging to the edge of my seat waiting to see what else the author came up with. I really loved her many different character voices they were delivered with clean, clear tones that really put the fear into the victim and those listening. She put the correct emotion into each scene when the victim screamed so did she giving it the feel of a movie coming to life before your eyes. If any breaks were taken you could not tell, there were no places where the volume was higher or lower than any other place in the book. I found no background noises or sounds just a clean crisp listen. Her male voices where as pleasing as her female ones. The males are very strong, sexy, delightful and at times very scary. Her females were soft, at times sexy, strong and fearful. There was nothing I didn’t like about her narration she did a wonderful great job pulling the reader in giving a very vivid listen that will stay with you for awhile. I am so looking forward to listening to more of her work in the near future.

This is one author that knows how to keep you in suspense as he takes you through the twists and turns giving you a compelling listen. I really felt sorry for Jennifer wanting a dream job that she is so close to yet so far away. Some of her choices were not always wise but I feel if we were in her shoes we would have went the same way. I know I got weird looks as I shopped when I would whisper no, no run, run or yes, yes do that again or OH NO this can’t be good. I loved the poems they were just so natural and so like a killer would do. I started feeling like the police did, lost and totally looking like a fool. The author gives a very detailed story that you have no trouble picturing in your mind. It isn’t too graphic but you are in no doubt what happen. There were times I was cheering for the victim when they got the upper hand and times I got very upset with the killer for the things he did. This is a story that could be pulled out of today’s headlines. It is very believable. It is one that will really sink in and not let you go. I found it to be very suspenseful, fast pace thrilling and exciting that kept me on the edge. You are going to love the twists and turns as the author takes you through each scene leaving you breathless and your heart racing.

 It is a race against the clock as the killer counts down to number one….leaving us guessing who that might be. Will they find the killer before time runs out and they lose someone they dearly love or know? I highly recommend this to anyone who likes thrills, suspense and serial killers you will find this to be a wonderful listen. From the author to the narrator it is a wonderful exciting listen. I enjoyed this so much I picked it as one of my favorite listens.

My Review
This is the first book I have read by these authors and I totally loved it. Wonderful characters with wonderful humor that kept me laughing throughout the story. There were even a time or two when I said OHHHHHHHHH oh my. The authors give you strong alpha characters you will love as they take on the bad men bring a few to their knees. We have guns drawn and you might get a chuckle where one gets a bullet. This is a short fast pace read even with not reading the other books in this series I never felt lost. The authors give you all the information you need to totally enjoy this read. After reading this you will want to go back and read all the ones you have missed.

The book starts out with sarcasm and humor which is the pace throughout. Poor Caroline is given an assignment which gets her in hot water with Mitch. I guess it is pay back since Mitch is in hot water with her. I loved this character with her smart mouth and her kick butt attitude she is a big winner in my book. There wasn't anything I didn't like about her as she takes on the world bring down one criminal at a time.

Mitch is just a sexy alpha male I did feel sorry for him and the way he found out about Caroline's assignment that sure was a shocker. He does seem to get his self into and out of some real big messes. That sexy smile of his seems to work magic as his temper gets out of control which gets him in hot water.

These two burn up the pages as they hit Vegas in the hunt for the missing daughter of a US Senator. You can feel the love they for each other come right off the pages. They work great as a team and that shows throughout the read as the reader is taken to a place in their minds where they can picture the scene as it happens. They get into a few tight places which could go either way as they fight the battle of what they have to do to get the Senators daughter back but will it be to late by the time they find her? Mitch isn't liking it that his women is deck out in clothes that do not even half cover her body. He must come to terms fast or wreck the mission.

These two author come together giving a lot of thought to the plot they have written. This was an outstanding read that will keep the reading laughing throughout. The author writing blend well together giving the reader a treat. This was a story I read at one setting needing to know just what happen and who will be left standing in the end. The ending was outstanding as it left me with a smile done only in the true style that you have come to know as Caroline and Mitch. If you are looking for a highly entertaining, hilarious read you have found it. This is one of those books I highly recommend.

My Review
Ms. Hamilton as always writes a highly entertaining thrilling read with J. D. Hart sex voice how can you go wrong. These two make an unbeatable team as they bring you a fast pace high energy read that gets your heart pumping as you are taken into story of killers, drugs bring the bad man down and showing you that there are true hero's in a world where many do not find them. Armando finally gets his own story he is one  of the seals we have come to love with his strong alpha ways and his sexy accent as he finds his true love. There has never been a woman who could bring this sexy seal to his knees until Gina. Armando knows she is keeping things from him as he does his best to show her the evil of her ways and bring her back to the right side of the law. We find him again trying his best to keep his hot headed sister out of trouble. When these two meet sparks fly, passion gets hot as each are trying to keep the other one at arms links.

Gina is hiding the truth is she is on the right side of the law only she cannot tell him. She is high undercover on a sting with the police force. Her ex who is also a police officer is in the way not only with her love life but her career. He will not take no for an answer and will have her at any cost. She has to keep Armando in the dark, keep Sam off her back and out of her bed. Things will come to ahead as she is living a life in two different worlds. Somewhere the two must come together and the fall out could mean she loses the one man who could be her world.

If you haven't listened to anything by J. D you are in for a treat he brings so much to this audio from his sexy voice to his sexy accents. He gives a rich deep tones that will weaken your knees and make your heart sing. His male voices are just a wonderful as his female voices. He leave you with a smile on your face and dreams in your head as you picture the story he gives. There are no breaks that you can tell nor are there any background noises just wonderful clean rich tones that you will enjoy through out this book. He never leaves you guess to what emotion the characters are feeling as he gives you powerful wonderful sexy scenes that will burn up your ears. There is little doubt why he is one of my favorite male narrators with a wonderful voice you never get tired of listening to.

Ms. Hamilton has really grown as an author as she gives you strong male and female characters. These are characters you will come to know as family as you read or listen to her series. Each book brings back a little from the last, you see how each character has grow and what changes have come into their lives. It is always hard for me to pick my favorite Seal since each one of them hold a special place in my heart. If you are looking for a hot suspenseful which is on the erotic side you can stop looking and pick up one of her books. If you want one that is even hotter than I recommend you pick it up in audio and listen to Mr. Hart wonderful sexy voice. 

Ms. Hamilton always gives you a thrilling exciting story with believable every day characters. Her Seal series is outstanding she has given a lot of thought to character what they do or how they deal with issues as she deliveries a read that will keep you on the edge whether that be the hot love scenes or the danger these Seals come in contact with.  If you haven't had the pleasure to chat with this author you might want to take some time with her next chat as you get to know her and her style. I hope you pick up one of her books as well as one of her audios for a thrill of your life as two wonderful people come together to give you one outstanding listen.
